Finding forever homes for our fabulous fur friends…there is something uniquely rewarding about saving a homeless pet’s life — discover why they are the most amazing companions.

Our rescue efforts focus on saving the lives of homeless kittens, cats, puppies and dogs, with a focus on special needs animals. We take in these pets primarily from other shelters and rescues when they are overfull or are short on resources. Our special needs pets include FIV-positive cats, blind cats, deaf cats, cats with deformed limbs or other unique special qualities that make them one-of-a-kind.

All of Wish’s available adoptable pets are cared for in loving foster homes or at community partners until they find their new forever families. They get tons of socialization and love, high-quality nutrition and veterinary care when needed. Our kittens are affectionate, healthy little purrmonsters who will bring you tremendous love, joy and laughter for years to come!

To adopt, follow these simple steps:

1: View our adoptable pets by clicking here!

2: Fill out a Cat Adoption Application (download here as a Word doc) or Dog Adoption Application (download here as a Word doc) and email it back to us at adoptions@wishuponapaw.org

3: We will process your application within the next 48 hours and arrange a time for you to meet your new companion

4: If all goes well and you decide to adopt, you can then bring your new family member home in a secure carrier (cats) or on a secure leash (dogs)

Wish Upon a Paw is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, volunteer-run, no-kill animal welfare organization. All donations go directly to help our efforts to decrease the homeless pet population. All donations are tax deductible.
